Needing Needle

In a famous city there stayed two adventurers in a big elite suite as neighbours in the room number 1007 and 1008. The one whom is living in the room no 1007 is Logs (Logan S), he is a good-looking young guy and an extrovert whom is loved by everyone, Logs is good with handling people, there is a good chance for him to get many girlfriends, Such a lovely guy!. On the other hand his friend in room 1008 is Xysto (Xystus R) he is not exact opposite to logs but a little opposite, he is not good looking as Logs but handsome guy and he is an ambivert, he is a little terrible with handling people but with the help of Logs he started to get good with people. Though many things are differs for both, there is one thing which is similar between them that is the interest to go on exploring caves & temples and going adventurers. They both are partners to each other and because of them the museum in the city is filled. They both are the best adventurers and archaeologists in the whole world and they are most paid adventurers in that city too.

          Now they both are on vacation after the discovery of a hidden cave underwater. After the day of their settlement, Logs got a call from his Sister who is an traveller and loved to travel all around the world. She told him about an ancient ruin which is being preserved into a mountain forest and it is not allowed by the villagers to visit. That ticked an interest inside him, the next thing he done is knocking the door of Room No 1008 and Xysto opened.

 Xysto : Hey buddy, whats up? You Seem excited

Logs : My sister called me.

Xysto : That’s crazy you are excited just because she called you.

Logs : NO that’s not the point, Im excited because the reason of her call

Xysto: And whats that reason?

Logs : Well surprise!

Xysto :  Ok then go back to your room, I’m busy in watching anime, I don’t have time to ruin my vacation, Bye bye…

Logs : Hey come on, Its not about ruining your vacation but its actually about ruin

Xysto : Well I think someone in this room should meet a psychiatrist.

Logs : Ok fine Jokes apart.. She said she found an ancient ruin and the villagers didn’t allow her to visit it.

Xysto : So she want us to get permission for her to visit the Ruin or what?

Logs : Ugh…. Nothing like that idiot, she told us because we can explore it.

Xysto : OHHHHHH! Sure, I am ready anytime… When are we leaving?

Logs :  How about tomorrow?

Xysto : You mean the next day

Logs : Well yea that’s what tomorrow means

Xysto : Not possible

Logs : What? Why?

Xysto : Just we got vacation even though my interest is in peak our body needs rest and I have to complete this anime series. So Bye bye our conversation is over.

Logs : Are you kidding me? Anime… Anime… Anime.. Always don’t you get bored of it?

Xysto : Is my face looks like Im bored?

Logs : NO

Xysto : Then you got the answer, Now close the door once you leave … TAATA!

Logs : Tch! BYE! You never change!

Logs closes the door and left, and they both stayed for a week then it’s ADVENTRUE TIME. Both of them reached the village.

          They went to the hotel in the village, got a room, and stayed…. It is a small hotel with just 3 rooms and one is Hotel owner’s room. The hotel is owned by an 80 years old woman whom is living with her Son (Maxy Vish) and grand daughter (Ibika). As per the culture of the Hotel the person who come to stay in that hotel should eat Dinner in Dining hall along with the everyone in the hotel. That night while everyone was eating. Logs started to talk to them.

Logs :  We heard that there is an ancient ruin here. Could you tell me about it?

Ibika : How does you know about it? Have you came here to see? There is no way an outsider knows it?

Xysto : Well Our sister told us. She came here as a tourist. Why are you keeping it as secret?

Max : We don’t keep it as secret. We just stopped allowing people there because there is an old wooden rope bridge which is broken and that’s the only way to go to the ruin and it took many peoples life so we don’t allow anyone.

 Ibika : I lost my mom because of the bridge too, She went to show path to some archeiologist and died. So If you are planning to go there, I recommend you to pack your things up tonight itself.

Granny : That’s enough Ibika.

Logs & Xysto : We are sorry.

Ibika got up and went to the room and everyone stayed in dining and talked some more time about the village. Then everyone went to bed.

Xysto :  I would like to get some air. Wanna come with me?

Logs :  Nope.GOOD NIGHT

Xysto went out and sat under the tree near the hotel… Ibika came out and saw Xysto sitting under tree

Ibika : No sleep?

Xysto : Just getting the view of moon. How about you?

Ibika : Well I couldn’t sleep

Xysto : Okie, Good night

Xysto left to room and slept. The next morning Logs and Xysto left the hotel so early and they went to the bridge. Near the bridge there is a clothes shop, They went inside and there an old man is weaving clothes. They asked him about any other ways to get to the other end of the bridge and the old man said there is no other way and its best for young guys like you to return than going to the ruin.

Logs : We appreciate your concern old man but we are adventureres and this is our duty no matter how hard it is we have to go. Do you have anything like hammer, nail, rope.

Oldman : No I don’t son, but here use this needle.

Xysto : Needle? What can we do with this?

Oldman : There is a famous proverb in our village son. It is “A little stream will run a light mill” So keep it. That is all I can give you.

Logs : Thank you sir.

They both walked out and started moving towards the bridge.

Logs:  Why did you accept it?

Xysto : Well we don’t have tooth pick right, so I thought we might use this for our lunch hehehe.

Logs: Ugh

Then they reached the bridge. It has strong rope but each wood in between was broken and at the centre of the bridge there are no wood at all. Xysto sits down near the bridge and asked Logs “What are we gonna do now?” logs replied “Well Lets go back and get some rope first” .Then they went back to the hotel and asked the lady where they would get big rope. The lady asked Ibika to show the path. She made them follow her and went to a place which is on the other side of the mountain. “Here if you go straight u will see a big grocery shop everything will be available there you can get whatever you want”Logs thanked her and asked her to join. She replied “Like hell I will, Bye don’t start conversation with him that’s all I can tell you”.

“Whatever, Lets go logs” said Xysto while walking towards the shop. They both went inside the shop, there was a guy of 6ft tall and giant muscle he looks like 30 yrs old but actually 45 yrs, his name is Mr.Pydor Basnil. He is an arrogant guy, because of his arrogance people don’t talk to him much and there is only his shop in that village so people have no choice but to come there. Despite of his arrogance he is a good man. When he saw Xysto and Logs he yelled at them “What the hell do you want?”

Logs : Well Sir we came to purchase somethings.

Pydor : Huh? WHAT DO YOU WANT?

Xysto : Seems you have blood pressure sir, I can see the nerves wrecking in your forehead *he told to pydor with a smirk in his face*

Pydor : HUH? ARE YOU HERE TO PICK A FIGHT OR WHAT KID? *Said pydor with a anger face and while standing close to Xysto’s face*

Logs :  Sorry sir, we didn’t come to fight… Stop it Xy *Logs tried to pull Xysto back*

Xysto : OHHH! You think you can defeat me.

Pydor : BRING IT ON KID *Phydor pissed off damn well*

They both went out and Pydor shows off his muscle mean while Xysto took his jacket off.. He maybe a kid but he is a matrial artist and Logs became out of mind he tried everything to make them not to fight. Mr.Pydor Started running towards Xysto who is in fighting position. Suddenly… there came a voice with strong and sweet sound… “STOOOOP RIGHT THERE!!”. Pydor stopped and he became calm,  Xysto seemed disappointed and looked who is it? Logs shocked too. There came a beautiful woman from the shop. Im Mrs.Pydor.. Whats going on here?

Pydor :  Well this kid picked on me?

Xysto : I did nothing mam

Logs :  Im sorry mam, we just came here to purchase some rope and things went like this.

Mrs. Pydor : Whomever picked doesn’t matter I don’t want any ruckus in front of my shop, Do you get it?*said with an angry face*

Pydor & Xysto :  Got it mam

*Xysto went to Pydor and asked him “Is she always like this” and he replied not always but sometimes*

Xysto :  you must have hard life man

Pydor : Yea that maybe true kid, I think we can move to peace

Xysto : I would like too but it would be disappointing

Pydor: SO?

Xysto : Lets have some duel

Mrs. Pydor :  No men in this village ever defeated my dear in archery if you want take him on!

Pydor : Are you sure honey? *His eyes filled with excitment*

Xysto :  Enough of your romance lets do it man!

Logs : Well Xy, do you remember why we came here?

Xysto: Come on buddy you go on and purchase whatever we needed, Im just gonna have fun today!

Pydor : Well kid no one ever defeated me? Do you really wanna do it?

Xysto : I would be happy to see a big guy like you cry… Hehehehe!

Mrs. Pydor : Your friend seems so confident. Do he know archery? *She asked to Logs*

Logs : As far I Know he have never used a bow and arrow before but Im sure he is gonna have fun.

Mrs. Pydor : Fun ah!

Logs : By the way I need long big ropes and some woods!

Mrs.Pydor : I think we have some ropes, wait here let me go and check !

Logs : Okie

*While logs waiting he took a look around the shop, at the same time both of them came back with one broken arrow and in angry mood at the same time Mrs. Pydor came too with the rope in her hand*

Logs : What happened ? Who won?

*They both pointed eachother, which shocked both logs and Mrs.Pydor*

Logs and Mrs. Pydor : No Way!!

Xysto: What?

Logs : I can believe you accepting defeat

Pydor :  He is the one who won not me

Xysto :  Its you old man not me

Pydor : HUUUH? Its YOU

Xysto : Wanna have another match, huh? *Xy rolled back his full hand shirt*

Pydor : Bring it on!

*Mrs.Pydor knocked pydor with a wood in her hand shouting no one gonna fight tell me what exactly happened*

Pydor : We kept a arrow board with same points in archery if it hits centre we get full points and the point decreases as it moves far away from the centre and we each had 2 chances on the first chance I hit the corner got low points and his arrow HAHAHAH fell right down on his legs.,… That kid really sucks in archery he doesn’t know how to bow HAAHAHA …

Logs : Then why are you pointing him as winner

Pydor : Just listen man… After that I shot the center on my second chance and this kid on his second chance he aimed and made his shot which is unbelievably peicered my arrow and hit the zone…..

Logs :WHAAAAAAAAT?

Xysto : Don’t get surprised idiot! I just knocked his first arrow which he shoted away from the centre… So basically he won

Pydor : Well naturally I won, but I asked him to aim at my second arrow apart from the duel but the next minute all I saw is his arrow pierced both of my arrows…. He got damn real talent, that’s why I told he won..

Xysto: Noo ! I lost we had two chance and that was third arrow it doesn’t count I LOST THAT’S ALL!!!

Mrs. Pydor : THAT’S ENOUGH, It’s a  draw… But Im surprised you are the first person to peirce his arrow…. Those arrows are made by a strong wood which is so hard to cut and yet you cut those twice…. I have to say you are amazing. Anyway here is your rope and wood that you asked, May I know why you need these rope and wood?

Logs :  We are gonna rebuilt that bridge..

Pydor : WHAAAT …Don’t tell me you guys are here to open the ruin and take the treasure…

Xysto : Does this ruin has treasure?

Pydor : I don’t know but many people tried to open it up, but none opened it so far…. The last guys who came to open they tried to open it for more than a month and one member of their gang commited suicide because of his pride that he can’t open a ruin.. After that we didn’t allow anyone to go there not even tourists… But I would like to see you guys trying it since that kid impressed me… Xysto is your name right… Ask me any help kid!

Xysto : Sure pops!

Logs: wait a minute, when did you guys became friends!

Xysto : Come on idiot we have many work lets go.

*Xysto and logs left that place with a smile*

Mrs. Pydor : There is something with these kids…

Pydor: You noticed

Mrs. Pydor: I don’t know about Xysto boy but that logs, He seemed interesting

Pydor : Why is that?

Mrs. Pydor : See he solved these puzzle games which we kept for sale.. the thing is he solved everypeice.

Pydor : Are you kidding?

Mrs. Pydor : See for yourself dear!

Pydor : Lets see what they can do! By the way where is the big chocolate box which I bought yesterday for sale? Those are so costly who bought it?

Mrs.Pydor : Oh my goodness!

*Mrs.pydor got annoyed yet she made pydor calm, Logs and Xysto went to the hotel and Xy had a bath and he lied in the bed*

Logs : Hey Xy what is this box?

Xysto : It’s Chocolate dude

Logs : When did you bought it?

Xysto: Who said I bought it? I just took it from pops shop?

Logs: HUH? DON’T TELL ME YOU STOLE IT?

Xysto : Nope I just took it as a token of me losing to that old man …. Heehehe *said xy with a bright smile*

*Logs got angry, took the box and walked out of the room *

Xysto: Hey where are going with my choco?

Logs : Im gonna give it back

Xysto : Nooooooo! *he took the box from logs* If you co operate I would share it with you buddy.. What did you say?

Logs : Okie fine but never do it, anyway Lets eat *Logs opened with an excitement*

Xysto : Wait a minute, You knew that I stole that box from beginning itself right?

Logs : Well Its not time to research let’s eat come on….

Xysto : HAHAHHHAHAH OKIEEE!

The next day they both took the ropes and wood along with all their equipment and went to the bridge. Xysto tied the ropes around his hip and started walking in the bridge whereas the other end is enclosed in Logs, he holded the rope tightly so that he can pull over Xysto if he fell down, Xysto reached half of the bridge and started filling the gap of broken woods by placing new wood there and nailed them, unfortunately while doing it he slipped down and started falling down, Logs tried to pull back as much as possible since there is no one around them its very hard for Logs to pull him alone,

Xysto : Duuuuuuudeee don’t leaaaave thatttt roppppppe!

Logs:Like im trying, but its really hard man, can I drop it just for a minute, my hands filled with sweats its hard to pull, let me wipe them first.

Xysto: HEEYYYYY! ITS NOT TIME FOR FUN., DO SOMETHING MAN!

*Suddenly Xysto felt the rope is being pulled back*

Xysto : Arey! When did logs become this strong? Unbelievable!

*Xysto climbed and stood on the bridge and looked towards logs and he was surprised to see the helper*

Pydor : Hey Kid are you okay?

Xysto : PP….PO……POPS… How did you come here?

*Xysto walks back to the land and then Phydor told them, I just came to see how you guys gonna cross the bridge and it seems I came at the right time… This means you owe me one kid*

Xysto : Thanks pops ! So what can I do for you? Ask me anything?

Pydor : Where are the chocolates?

Xysto : *Whiztles and started patting his head* Well…. What chocolates… I have no idea of what you are speaking sir!

Pydor : Is that so?

Logs: Sorry sir, we took it, Let me pay for it…

Pydor : Its okay you can keep it as a token of being defeated by me HHAHAHA!

Xysto : Anyway thank you so much pops..!

Pydor : Let me help you fixing the bridge, but give me a word that you will open the ruin!

Xy & Logs : WE GIVE YOU OUR WORD.. WE WONT RETURN UNTIL WE OPEN THE RUIN.

After that they three worked together and fixed the whole bridge which made it as new and much more stronger than before they doubled layered every wood in that bridge, after that pydor left to his home since the sun started hiding itself in moutains,  Xy and logs went back to their hotel, When they returned both are so shocked to see their room doors…

Xy & Logs : WHAAAAAT THE HELLLLLL????

Ibika came there “what happened, why are you shouting so loud you will disturb the neighbours”

Xysto : From where this hole in the door came?

Ibika : OMG ! Not again

Logs : What do you mean by again?

Ibika: Well recently we started to have rat problems…

Xysto: Whaaat…. Is that rat’s work?

*He opens the door fastly and checked his chocolate unfortunately the rat damaged only the chocolates*

Logs : NOOOO OUR CHOCOLATES

Ibika: Im sorry for it, but its just chocolates

Xysto : Dude, Whom should we punish first this girl Ibika or that rat?

Logs: How about we make them both suffer?

Xysto : Sounds good to me!

*Ibika ran away from that place and her father came there*

Max: Sorry about it! Let me fix them, I can pay for those chocolates

Logs : Its okay Max, we were just kidding no worries

Xysto : Make sure that door doesn’t get another hole like this, Okay!

*After dinner the door is fixed and everyone went to sleep*

Xysto : Buddy, seems everyone slept, It’s the right time of our Mission.

Logs : Sleeping Mission right ! I know, Goood night dude

Xysto : Hey not sleeping mission man, Its mission Dead Rat.

Logs : What, we are going to search that rat now ! No way.

Xysto : Do you think we should let the rat stay alive after it ate the chocolate we had!

Logs : Afterall it’s just the chocolate we stole, not even payed for it, let it be.

Xysto : That’s what exactly im trying to tell you, this is the first time I stole something and a rat ate it.. How can I leave it?

Logs : Get lost idiot! Im gonna sleep and one more step you keep out of the room you will be a deadmeat! U N D E R S T A N D!

Xysto : Yes Sir, You go and sleep, good night.

[Xysto mindvoice :Damn He is so dangerous whenever he gets angry. So Mission dead rat failed]

Next Morning they crossed the bridge and reached the ruin, It is a big temple that is being carved from a big rock it has 8 feet height door, the door is made up of stone and wood mixed its unbreakable, the texture of the door is just squares the the door is filled with many squares which are like keyboard buttons its pressable and it has some symbol carved on it, There are nine symbols after some research Logs identified those symbols represent numbers and the door has 9 numbers, and the maximum number pressable is four which means if we presses 4 numbers like 9387 they are being pressed in condition and if 5^th digit is pressed all the numbers pop back to their original state. Other than this the whole temple is total plain without any design, symbol nothing… only the door has some textures rest of the whole temple is so plain rock, and in front of the door at the right side there is a small stand which has a board that attached to small stand made up of rock. There is some writing on the board they are old letters. Since Logs have worked on ancient languages, He started researching on it, since it is interesting he refused to leave the place so they both made a tent near the ruin and started staying there Xysto for the first day he went to the hotel and bought food for them, then Ibika started bringing for them because she got interested in ruin exploration so she decided to help Logs, Whereas Pydor and Xysto searched all around the mountain to get any clue and they tried variety of four digit numbers which never made the door open after two days of research. Logs found whats written it the symbols in the board says “TO OPEN YOU HAVE TO OPEN THE FORMIDABLE OPEN”.

Xysto : Did you used correct dictionary dude?

Logs : Hey that’s what the exact translation!

Xysto : Seems we got more and more puzzles, looks like this ruin has some unique treasure, by  the way dude come on lets figure something, use your puzzle brain.

Logs : I’m trying but I don’t get it.

Ibika : Well Its telling  you have to open the door that’s all right

Xysto : If it is that simple there would be no way for them to carve it in a board

Logs : Hmmmm….!

Xysto : Hmm…! Formidable open ah, what’s that supposed to mean, I think there is some other way, Let me check this mountain again and buddy you try variety of number, let’s make it work out okie..

They both tried many sequences and searched everything and everywhere, all they got is nothing but a waste of time and energy, not even a single clue. Almost a week passed by Still they got nothing. This is the first ruin that took them so long…. It made them crazy but due to Pydor and Ibika they are able to remain their calmness. Then the next day Ibika bought them food and she had a box with her.

Xysto : What is there in that box?

Ibika: Surprise… Guesss?

Logs : Ummm….! Did you cooked something?

Ibika : Noo

Xysto : You stole anything from any shop?

Ibika : Who the hell would do such things?

Xysto : Okie no idea!!!

Logs : Tell us now, please don’t drive us crazy we already got no clue to open the door and you asking us to guess something.

Ibika : Fine, This box is the jail which is used to arrest the culprit who ate those chocolates of yours.

Xysto: Loggs… MISSION DEAD RAT IS ON! Give me the box I have plenty of ideas to make the sweet little sweet loving rat suffer *Says xysto with a evil look and smile*

*Ibika gave the rat to Xysto he tied that Rat in a rope and hanged it at the middle of the bridge*

Xysto: Hey Ibika can you bring Pydor here?

Ibika : Why?

Logs : Don’t tell me you are planning to do it?..

Xysto : heheh! I already made up my mind how can it open through our door and eat my chocolates; it has receive its divine punishment.

Logs : Wait a minute, It came through the opening by opening it.

Ibika : What do you mean?

Xysto : Buddy you are genius…

Ibika : Hey, Don’t talk to yourself guys, explain it to me too!

Logs : Well, To get into the room we need to open the door but for rat it had to open an opening in the door, by making an opening for itself, It entered. The same way we don’t need to open the door all we need to open the formidable door, Which means there is something that we need to open before opening the door.

Ibika : So which one is the formidable door?

Xysto : The only thing formidable here is the board which gave us this opening message.

Logs : But I looked into it carefully, I got nothing dude!

Xysto : If looking failed, then all we have to do is search in it, umm… By the way dude all this symbol indicates some letters or words right, what does this dot which is in the centre of the board indicate.

Logs : What dot?

Xysto : See the black one right here *He pointed to a dark dot in that board, there is only one dot at the centre of the board*

Logs : Lets see! How did I missed this one, It maybe another clue word

Xysto : Isn’t it obvious? You are just an Idiot.

Logs : No man it’s not a symbol.

Xysto :Aha ! Seems we got something! Give me the lens Logs.

*Logs gives him a magnifying lens*

Xysto : Hey buddy, This board is made up of rock right?

Logs : Yea, Why? Got anything?

Xysto : Look this dot it has different colour, it seems to be some mud filled a hole.

Logs :  It’s a hole?

Xysto : One minute, where is the needle that tailor gave us dude? Can you get me the needle?

Logs : Its in my bag, Sure!

*Xysto got that needle and he pierced it through the mud, as he suggested the needle went in*

Xysto : EUREKA! EUREKA! Its just as I thought the dust covered this hole and it must happened near past, Seems the Archaeologist who came before us has done some brushing work too.

Ibika : If they have checked the board they would have tried to figure why the hole is here right?

Logs: It’s very small hole, without lens, we could not see it, since Xy is good at observing small details, he got it! Therefore, it is natural that they missed it.

Xysto: No Archaeologist would commit suicide just because they cannot open the door! If one of them did it, it shows they are not motivated enough, so I think it is just a group of amateur idiots!

Xy inserted the needle fully at once the board which had instruction got cracked at the edges, Logs removed the cracked layer slowly and they found another layer which shows the same symbols as its in the door, and that’s the password of the door it seems since it had  digits and those symbols indicates the numbers 5207.

Logs : WHOOHOOOOO, WE DID IT DUDE ..

*He hugged Ibika with excitement*

Xysto : Enough huggies! Try those numbers in the door man.

Logs : Ah…..Er…Um.. Okie, haha!, you are allowing me to open the door?  You never did it before, everytime you are the one who opens the door.

Xysto : Well those ruins seems safe to me but not this one, if it had any life threatening traps then I would be the one to get killed right, that’s why I asked you to open it.

Logs: Tch.!!

Xysto : Stop your blushing and open it already idiot!

Logs : SHUT UP!

Logs pressed those numbers and the door opened at the same time the needle is being thrown back, Xysto took the needle and kept it in his pocket and he took a wooden log and tied a cloth on the top of the log and then sprayed all over it to burn the cloth using Log’s perfume.

Logs: What the hell are you doing?

Xysto : See inside the ruin it’s too dark so I am preparing a torch.

Logs : We already have electronic torches idiot ! *He took two torches in hand and turned them on*

Xysto: So what, Im bringing up the ancient feel and can I play music now? this way it would feel so much adventurous right! *He took his ipod*

Logs: Nope you cant!

Xysto : Er! I knew it *He kept the ipod back to his pocket*

Xysto burned the cloth and started walking with the log in his hand. Logs followed him there is narrow way in which there is no symbols or any traps or nothing around them its like walking in a plain cave. After certain distance they reached a main hall of the cave in which the sunlight is invaded only on two small windows and those windows are opposite to the entrance and it’s a little bit top from the height of the door it doesn’t give that much light, at the centre there is a big stand which had a small treasure box with a small lock and the lock has a small dot too, Xysto used the needle and the lock opened, meanwhile Pydor and Ibika came inside the ruin too.

Pydor : Hey kid! Found any treasure..

Xysto : Yea pops, its an unique treasure

Ibika: What is it, What is it inside that box?

Logs : Look it for yourself

Phydor and Ibika saw it and got shocked, the thing inside that small treasure box for which everyone waited to get is nothing but a small bright “NEEDLE”

Pydor : Are you kidding me… They had so much protection just for a needle.

Xysto found the torch inside the ruin and lighted them, above the treasure box there had some writings, Logs did some research and translated them, Whats written in It is “REPLACE IT, THIS IS NOT A PLACE - IT’S YOU, WHAT YOU ARE LOOKING FOR IS ALREADY IN YOUR HAND ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS ACCEPT IT AND MOVE ON”

 Logs smiled when they saw these messages, Rest of the people don’t understand what it says because only Logs can read this language

Ibika : Hey What’s that mean, why are you smiling?

Logs:  This ruin itself a treasure…. I wanted to meet the guy who made this ruin…!

Xysto : Sorry dude that’s not possible, He wouldn’t alive *Says Xy while eating a chocolate bar*

Pydor : What are you talking about Logs?… I don’t get it and kid where did you get that chocolate!

Xysto : This one, I used to have chocolates with me always – A plain habit!

Logs : Let me explain but before that I think we have some work to do.

Xysto : What work?

Logs : I think we have to replace this needle with the needle we opened  dude

Xysto took the needle inside the treasure box and replaced it with the needle he used to open the ruin and then they went out except Xysto

Pydor : Can you explain what written on it?

Ibika : It seems it said replace it so you replaced the needle I think but what the other lines means

Logs : The ruin is the symbolic representation of we humans, all we do is search for some ability like I want to be like that, I want to do something like that etc.. But the truth is we have the opportunity within ourselves like we had that needle, if we use that opportunity correctly, we would get the treasure needle which denotes the ability of the person, Each opportunity help us to discover our own ability. All we have to do is accept and use that opportunity wisely. That’s what this Ruin tells about!

Pydor : Hey it sounds boring man! But good message though. By the way whats your partner doing inside?

Logs : Who knows ….XYYYYYYYYYYSTOOOOO!!

Xysto : HEYY GUYSS COME IN, I FOUND SOMETHING! This is the only ruin with true treasure which is eternal! And here you guys keep this needle.

Pydor : Why are you giving this?

Xysto: It may looks useless but the truth is this needle is made up of platinum and look inside the box, see in that corner there is another small hole just as in the board.

Logs : Hey, how did you find it?

Xysto : Hehe ! Im an anime fan, it’s a piece of cake!

Logs : Your punch sucks as usual!

Xysto : Hey, you are supposed to say “Xy you are amazing”

Logs : Get lost

Pydor : You really sucks kid!

Xysto : Heyy that’s not fair!!!

Logs inserted that platinum needle inside the hole but nothing happened, “Why is it not working” said Xy, “Hey I think we should try with the needle we opened the door I think” said Ibika. “Why should we need to use the old needle when we got the treasure needle” asked Pydor.

Logs : I think Ibika is right, that message said we have the treasure in our hand, so lets try using the old one.

Xysto : Well guys! There is a problem

Logs : What the hell did you do now?

Xysto : HEY! WHY AM I GETTING YELLED CONTINUOUSLY?

Logs : Because you are an idiot, you always do things as you like.

Xysto : Oh is that so? Which idiot inserted the needle in that hole, me or you, idiot.

Logs : Whats the problem with that?

Xysto : That’s the hellish problem right now idiot, that needle is stuck inside that hole itself, IDIOT!

Ibika : That’s enough! Stop your nonsense fighting and find a way to remove it.

*They tried everything to pull the needle out of the hole and it never moved an inch*

Xysto ran towards the outside of the door and took something from his tent and returned back inside slowly.

Pydor : You found anything Kid.

Xysto : Yea my chocolate bar finished, so I found another one, you know what this bar has a speciality that even after every bite we still can remember the taste because of the sweetness, Its naturally dark chocolate with caramel.

Logs : Pydor and Ibika, Is it okay to kill him? *Logs went to beat Xysto and pydor and Ibika tried to stop logs, somehow he became calm*

Xysto : What is your problem man? You cant find a way then use the way we came, Why the hell are you yelling at me?

Logs : In that case find a way then while eating those idiotic chocolate! You are an anime fan right! Do something useful rather than eating those useless bars!

Xysto : A challenge, huh? Bring it on?

Ibika : Hey is it okay to make him mad? You need to be calm Logs *She whispered in logs ears*

Logs: Just wait and watch! You have no idea how he works once he got challenged!

Xysto sat on a corner and started eating the bar, everyone was wondering what he is about to do? Suddenly Xy got up and went outside and he inserted the needle in that board which they used to open the door, At the moment he inserted it fully wall in which the windows are available started cracking and there the wall broke down, it looked like a door broke down the ruin became so bright, everyone walked through that broken wall and there everyone’s eyes filled with mesmerizing glow, Xy came there too, In front of them; there was a beautiful garden with lovely plants and a small hut where a lady was watering the plants. The lady doesn’t saw them! She kept on watering the plants, Everyone was so surprised.

Xysto: Don’t underestimate an anime fan! *He told with a pride and drank the juice which he had in his hand ‘sllllurrrpppp’*

Logs : Whatever, How did you found that’s the way to open it.

Xysto : Who knows! ,When we first opened the door the needle we inserted is being thrown out of the hole by itself right, so I thought if I reinserted that needle it would make the treasure needle to be thrown out, but somehow my predictions gave us something interesting. By the way who is that lady? She couldn’t even hear these wall breaking sound too? Is her a deaf?

Pydor : Where did you get that juice from?

Xysto : Im equipped man!

Logs: Don’t tell me, that your backpack has only snacks and drinks?

Xysto : Well kinda yea!

Logs: So that’s why you are always asking me every equipments?huh?

Xysto : No dude, I too have some equipments, but your equipments are always best that’s why!

Logs: Tch ! Whatever! Give a juice then!

Xysto : Sorry this is private property, If u drink or eat while working you will lose your concetration, meanwhile If I don’t drink or eat while working I will lose concentration, so concentrate on your work not on my back pack…! *Logs tried to beat xy again and Pydor stops him again*

*Suddenly Ibika started screaming while pointing her fingers towards the lady who was watering the plants, Everyone got scared, Xy hid behind logs at the same time pydor fall down unconsciously, the lady noticed these people*

Logs : What happened Ibika?

Ibika : TH….THAT…. THAT’S MY MOTHER!!

Xysto : WHAAAAAT? *He spitted the juice inside his mouth*

*That lady saw Ibika and started running towards her shouting “IBIKKKAAA” and Ibika started running towards her mother too, Its almost like reunion of mother and daughter, but the reunion didn’t happen because xysto ran before ibika, stood between mom and daughter, then shouted “BOTH OF YOU STOP RIGHT THERE!”

Ibika : Hey what are you doing?

Xysto : You told your Mother died right?

Ibika : Yeah, But you see she is here alive.

Xysto : Ahaan! It maybe her ghost or something, Let me confirm it

Mrs.Max (Ibika’s mother): Whats your problem man? Im an alive !

Xysto : Just wait, *Xysto took a gun shaped device and pointed it towards the lady*

Logs : HEY STOP IT MAN! ARE YOU MAD?

Xysto : SHUT UP! This is my paranormal detecting device, It would show us her real identity *He turned it on and there it gave no results as she is a ghost*

Xysto : hahaha! Seems she is alive, sorry for the interruption Ibika, you can hug now?

*They both hugged each other, whereas logs grabbed xysto and gave some great beatings which made him to sit silently near unconscious pydor*

Mrs.Max : Its been a long time dear, How are you , How is max and Grandma?

Ibika : Im fine, everyone are fine, Why are you here? Do you know how much we missed you? *She sat down and started crying*

Logs: Well Mam, Can you tell me what happened to you?

Mrs.Max : Okie lets talk inside the hut.

*Xysto poured water on pydor and everyone went inside the hut, Mrs. Max made tea for everyone and she started her flashback story*

(The day Mrs. Max Fell down from the bridge)

Mrs.Max : Its true that I fell down from the bridge, but due to the deep water I survived just my leg got hit in a rock, but somehow I came out of the water and started walking in the shore, on my left side its just a high big rock, its hard to climb so I kept walking towards the shore, then suddenly a rock moved upwards (like lambogirini door opening) and an old woman walked from it, she saw me and at once she grabbed me into the rock and closed the rock, On outside it seemed like the normal rock but from inside it’s a door which is opened only from inside and there had many steps, even though its hard for me to walk I kept following her, that old woman didn’t talked a word to me she just asked me to follow her and I ended up into this garden, Then she started treating my wounds in my leg and gave me food to eat after that she began to tell about her and this garden. What she told was,

Old woman : This garden is known as the heaven’s garden, all the plants which you see is herbal plants, each and every plants has a special healing ability, not just healing you can get cosmetic, energetic and many varieties of plants, there are rare plants too. These plants are fully covered with deadly poison thorny field so that people can’t enter into it, the only way to enter into this is by opening the ancient gateway infront of the mountain.

*Mrs.max “That’s when I Realized that Im in the top of the mountain and the gateway that the oldwoman told is the ancient ruin which is unopenable”*

Xysto : Where is the old lady now?

Mrs.Max: She was dead one year ago, she taught me everything about the village and the plants, She asked me not to leave this garden and I promised her that I won’t, that’s why im still here, she also predicted that someone will open the ruin and when the day comes she told me to protect this garden from greedy people, and here you guys opened this ruin, but I have no idea how am I going to protect this garden.

Pydor : Don’t worry Mrs. Max, This is our village’s treasure we will never allow anyone to touch it.

Logs : We would ask the government to give full authority only to the villagers, so that no people from the outside can occupy this land.

Mrs.Max: You can do it? That would be a big help!

Xysto : Whom do you think we are? There is nothing we cant do!

Mrs.Max : Who is this weirdo anyway? Is he an archaeologist too?

Ibika : Leave him mom, he is just an idiot

*Everyone started laughing except Xysto *

Xysto : Hmmm….., Why does the ruin had those message then, we know its not a clue, but why was it there?

Mrs. Max : What message?

Xysto : The message telling….. Replace it, and … Opps, I forgot it , Logs you tell it man!

Logs : There is a message in the ruin telling that “Replace it, this is not a place - it’s you, what you are looking for is …….”

Mrs.Max: …already in your hand all you have to do is accept it and move on”

Pydor : How do you know it Mrs.Max?

Xysto : Do you know telepathy or any magic ?

Mrs.Max: Nothing like that Weirdo, I learnt it from that old woman, The message you told me was the famous quote of the village founder, he used to say this to the village people often, He is a kind of person who see everything as a opportunity, that’s why he used needles as the keys for this door in the first place, He is a man of simplicity who lived his life as the proverb “A little stream will run a light mill” (in tanglish its : Siru thurumbum pal kutha uthavum).

Logs : That’s the same proverb that old tailor told us, isn’t it Xy?

Xysto : Yeah! It is. Now I understood everything about this ruin. Hehe!  

*Then they returned to the village and told the villagers about their treasure and about Ibika’s mother, Ibika’s grandma and Mr.Max (His eyes are filled with tears) were so happy and the villagers were so happy to know that they had medicinal plants*

Xysto : By the way pops, Can I Borrow your bow and arrows?

Pydor :Sure but why?

Xysto : I have a mission to complete give me please.

*Xysto took the bow and arrow and ran towards the bridge, after an hour he returned back with those arrows and bow, he bought every arrow back*

Logs : What happened dude? Did you killed it?

Xysto : Nope (Said Xy with sad face)

Ibika : Whaat? Did it escaped?

Xysto : Noo, When I went there I saw it dead already and some birds ripped it and took it with them

Logs : Whatever its dead right! Be happy man

Xysto: NOOO, I wanted to kill it myself, But those silly birds took my happiness. So I thought to killing those birds, but they escaped.

Logs: That’s enough lets go and have dinner, come on, by the way Xy, What do you think of this adventure?

Xysto : This is the best adventure ever!  Even though there is no adventure here, we never saw such happiness in people’s face before by opening a ruin right.

Logs: YEA*they both smiled*.

*That night the village had a little celebration for the return of Mrs.Max and for the discovery of heaven’s garden, with the help of pydor everyone in the village decided to use the herbal plants and protect them. Everyone celebrated that night so well, and Mrs. Max on the behalf of the villagers gave the big needle to Xy and Logs as a tribute*

Xysto : It’s the needle in the treasure box, isn’t it?

Mrs.Max: Yeah, This is the treasure of this ruin, the first made needle of this village, now it belongs to you, please keep it with yourself.

*Xy and Logs accepted it, after that every had party and they celebrated by having fire dance and drinking etc…*

Then the next morning Xysto and Logs packed everything and kept inside the car but it seems the package is lot more than the usual.

Xysto : Hey why there is two extra bags?

Logs : I forgot to tell right Ibika is joining with us

Xysto : Wait Whaat?.. Why?

Logs :Well It happened on the first day, When we both first met each other we felt something is similar between us.

Xysto :Not a word ! I got your damn love story….. Now how the hell am I gonna enjoy the rest of adventures?

Logs : Well I got a call from a girl this morning and  she requested me to work with you?

Xysto : Don’t tell me you contacted that witch?

Ibika : Witch?

Logs : There is girl named Adhersa Juliet whom is crazy on Xysto, but he didn’t want to be with her so he escaped from her and staying with me. Now she is coming to pick him up on the airport, You are lucky dude!

Xysto : Hey Ibika Which way is that ruin…

Ibika: That way, why you forgot anything?

Xysto : Nope, Im gonna live in that garden from now on.

Mrs. Max: Why?

Xysto : I would rather die than working with that witch!!

Logs : Ahaan! We already made the preparations dude! You cant escape this time

Xysto : We? Preparations? What are you talking about?

Xysto began to run, at once Logs and pydor grabbed him and tied him with a rope and threw him into the car.

Logs :  If I do not bring you to her then she would kill me! Sorry my friend!

Xysto : You betrayer!! Someone save me ! SAVEEEEE MEEE! PLEASE SOMEONE

*Pydor took a tape and pasted it in Xysto’s face, “Now its good Bye, happy journey everyone”.*

That’s how the journey of two adventurers came to end and After few years Logs married Ibika and became a lecturer on Biggest Archaeology university, Whereas Xysto is having many adventurers in his life with the lovely witch whom loves him madly. Good thing in their love life is Xysto is alive. Pydor and villagers began to take care of the garden and with the help of government they were protecting it, The herbal plants from that village saved many of the lives, all of this happened because of these two adventurers Xystus and Logan.
