Rhythm of the Paintings

In the town named Town Sapphire there lived a man named Mr.Geo Gray who was the father of an intelligent young boy named Zeon Gray who is a high school student and the stupid elder boy named Leone Gray but people used to call him dolt because he is a dolt (Which means stupid) but there are people who still think good about him and they were none other than anyone it’s his father, mother and his younger brother and he is a graduate somehow he passed all the exams.

It was a fine morning. Mr.Geo wakes up his sons as it is 8o clock. Zeon is in summer vacation so he went to his friends home after refreshing whereas Dolt has no friends even if he have they just bully him. Leone has good look to same as his brother but no one likes him from the childhood because everyone in that town knows Leone is Stupid and no one calls him by his name, they just address him as dolt, except the exception.

As he has no work he helps his mother in his home while his father is off to work. After refreshing he went to the nearby shop to buy sugar, he just walked repeating the words sugar 1 kg… sugar 1 kg .... sugar 1kg … and finally reached the shop

SHOPKEEPER : Good morning dolt, Its rare to see you here. So what do you want?

(Calling him Dolt doesn’t bothers him because he was used to it)

Leone : Sugar 1 kg sir.

SHOPKEEPER :  Here is it dolt and it cost 20.

As he asked the amount Leone searched all over the pocket and the amount was not there.

          LEONE : Where is the amount I kept in my pocket?

He searched near the shop and down everywhere

          SHOPKEEPER : Oh hoo! Dolt I am sure you forgot to bring the money that your mother gave…….hahaha…… take that sugar now and pay later and don’t ever forget that you bought the product without paying.

Leone came back to home and said this to his mother. His mother told that she forgot to give him the money and that’s how she convinced him (Leone really forgot to take the money but his mother doesn’t want to make him sad so she lied to him)

          Then Leone ate his breakfast with his brother who just returned home after paying the money that Leone forgot. They both like each other, even though they fight Zeon never calls his brother stupid or dolt or anything and he doesn’t like his friends or neighbours to call him like that in front of him.

          Leone and Zeon loves music so they joined in music class. Zeon is a drums player whereas Leone loved to play keyboard (piano). The music master hesitated to join Leone in the music class but due to the struggle of Zeon and their dad Geo they accepted to join Leone by paying extra fees than others, according to the music teachers making this stupid to learn keyboard is impossible but as Leone’s father is ready to pay they took him in and there too people bullied him dramatically.

          Leone was idolised in the music class too. As long he can play music he is fine with all those despair things that happens to him. None of his family member knows that he was bullied there too because he convinced his family members that people in the music class were treating him good and they are teaching him too and also he told his brother not to check him up inside the music class and if he do then Leone will quit the music class that’s the agreement between the brothers that Leone came up with.

          As usual Leone and Zeon came to the music class,

ZEON: Ok brother bye take care

LEONE: Bye too

          Leone walks inside the room wearing his keyboard bag on his right shoulder looking down the floor and walked towards the corner and took over the keyboard cover and placed his keyboard down and started practicing the basics that his teachers taught him at the beginning, he was being practicing the basics for almost an year then they taught him chords and they can’t predict that when he will memorize all the chord. He was doing his best daily but he can’t memorize them and he was prohibited to play songs inside the classroom while others can play any song because whenever he tries to play all it comes is noise not music. He is a slow learner so the music teachers tries their level best to teach him. Then after music class he used to go to the waterfalls where he used to spend his time in a secret place near the waterfalls. No one knows where Leone goes after music class. His parents allowed him to do anything he want because they too don’t want to make him sad like others do. So they too don’t ask him where he was going and at eve he comes to home with his keyboard and plays it in home with wearing headphones. He loves his music but he never allows anyone to hear the music. Then after dinner he goes to sleep quickly. The routine continues.

AFTER A YEAR…. A young world famous painter named Celestie Zoe came to Town Sapphire which is nearby to her native Town Boston. She is not just a painter but also a model because of her overwhelming beauty almost a celebrity. People in the town especially boys were urged to see her when they received the news that she is going to stay at the town Sapphire for a month in order to complete her new masterpiece for the upcoming World Classy Painting competition. She was being surrounded by many people for autograph and photograph whenever she step outside from her home. Because of this she can’t wander around to find her masterpiece for the competition. Then she tried to sneak out by wearing different clothes hiding her identity and started searching for her masterpiece day after day for a week she couldn’t find anything she was so disappointed.

          Then on a fine day while searching for the masterpiece she somehow met with Zeon, it’s purely a coincidence she was in different look but Zeon found that she was Celestie Zoe, this surprised her

ZOE: How did you find me?

ZEON: Hehehe! It’s simple you are the only one in the town wearing such a different shaped dollar chain and your walking style, respect in talking to new guys it’s all nothing like the any girl in the town.

ZOE: Wow! You are amazing. My masked identity has never ever founded by any one not even my family. But you got me just in one glance. You sure is an interesting person. May I know your name?

ZEON:  The pleasure is mine, I am Zeon gray, a highschool student and it’s easy to get you because you are so pretty and your paintings are amazing as well as you…. My fav painting of yours is “THE LOST CHILD”.

ZOE: Oh thank you! You do have different taste that no one like to buy because full of sorrow.

ZEON: Your paintings are almost sorrow based right!

ZOE: heh! You are right but the lost child is the saddest painting that I have done and why do you like it?

ZEON: The painting is actually sorrow and full of sadness but at the end of the right side there are two people walking towards the child it’s so small…. To be specific it’s the parents of the child right.

ZOE: Woah…..wow…wow! I have never seen anybody like you…No one actually noted it. You are right they almost reached the child and they sure will get the child that’s what my painting made up of. But people doesn’t have the mentality to capture it. You are interesting Zeon. Is it ok for you to have a walk with me?

ZEON: Are u kidding me! Am I dreaming! I can’t believe it. I sure will.

ZOE: Hehehe thank goodness…

ZEON: So where are going right now?

ZOE: I want to go to the Sapphire fall (name of the waterfalls in the town sapphire)

ZEON: Let’s go…. Yaahoooo!

They both reached the fall but due to some work Zeon left as soon they reached the waterfall.

          Zoe returned home she was so happy than she used to be. The next day she went to the music class of the town there she saw Zeon

ZOE: Hi Zeon!

ZEON: Hey hi, what a surprise we met again and why are you here!

ZOE: I’m here to hire a musician and what are you doing here?

ZEON: This is my music school I learn drums here. Now I’m waiting for my brother, let me introduce him to you?

ZOE: Well I would like to meet him too but I’m in the hurry see you late bye.

ZEON: That’s unfortunate Bye!

Zoe went inside the drums room at the same time Leone came out from the keyboard room with the keyboard bag along with him. Then Leone and Zeon went home. The next day Zoe comes again, the shocking thing is she came in her normal identity so it’s normal for her to surround by the students. The masters tried to make the students go but they doesn’t listened what the master saying. Leone and Zeon came to the music class at that time, Leone as usual doesn’t wanted to get into fuss so he headed straight towards his class whereas Zeon went to see what’s the commotion was about. When he entered into the group Zoe saw Zeon and waved her hands to him and he waved in return. This really made all guys mad and jealous, everyone was like ‘What the heck man why all girls like you? We damn hate you but you are our friend so give us intro to her dude come on come on…’ Because of the force He introduced his friends Deigh, Nasha, Sweedi and others to Zoe and they all had a chitchat. This became comfortable to the music master he made the other students to get back to their and class and left Zoe on Zeon and his friends control.

ZEON: What brings you again today?

Nasha: Is there any way we can help you?

ZOE: Yea, I was searching for a keyboard player who could play the music that I have in my tape.

Deigh: I am a keyboard player, Want me to play the tune?

ZOE: Wow Can u play this tune?

She turned on the tape. After hearing

DEIGH: Don’t be silly it’s pretty hard for our master too?

ZOE: Come on, don’t think like that atleast there may be player who can actually play this tune. Why don’t we check the keyboard players!

ZEON: That’s quite a good idea. Let me show you the way to the keyboard class.

They all went to the Keyboard class and they all asked each student by each and no one can play the tune.

SWEEDI: Why don’t we try asking the master itself? We asked all the people in the keyboard class but it’s no use.

ZOE: It’s not possible I need an youngster it would be way more effective than the older people and There is one guy at the corner of the music class why don’t we ask him!

DEIGH: Hahah hahahah him! (Everyone laughed along with deigh excepted Zeon because he was upset to see his brother being laughed at)

ZOE: What happened to you guys and why are you sad Zeon?

SWEEDI: It’s better not asking that Dolt

ZEON: Don’t call him dolt!

DEIGH: That stupid man is Zeon’s older brother. He is damn stupid its good not to ask him, he is not even good at basic you know.

ZOE: You guys! Don’t make fun of others. Whatever you say he is the one that I am going to heir?

NASHA: WHAT? He is good at nothing.

ZEON: I appreciate your concern but he will not accept your request Zoe

ZOE: Let’s give a try

Then they walked towards Leone and Zoe asked him to play a tune for her, at once Leone packed his keyboard saying ‘I hope you heard about me, its waste of time to ask me about playing a tune. Please go and ask someone else’ He went out of the class after telling this Zeon and Zoe became sad.

DEIGH: I told you he is not good for these, see he even turndown your proposal Zoe he is just a stupid. That Dolt! I’m letting him go just because he is brother of you Zeon or else I would have beat him into pulp for rejecting the proposal Zeo.

ZEON: Whose fault do you think that of Deigh? Huh!

DEIGH: Are you telling that we are the one who made him stupid, huh! That idiot was born as stupid. It’s normal to call a stupid as stupid, I don’t see any problem in it.

Zeon got mad and yelled at everyone and left that place, Zoe followed Zeon and asked him why people calls his brother stupid.

Zeon: My brother was not born as stupid these people made him stupid it all happened just in one day. Do you have patience to listen?

ZOE: Yeah! Go ahead.

ZEON: It happened when he was an elementary school student he used to have a pebble as his lucky charm. He never let it go, According to him as long as he has the pebble he would never visit failures, he used to talk to it and sometimes he play with the pebble he treats the pebble as a human

. He used to be a best vocal student until his grade 3 then later his friends came to know that he has the pebble as his lucky charm and they made fun out of him. It made him to hate them and the on the day of cultural function, While singing in stage he got stuck at the half way he forgot his lyrics, at once his friends freaked out in the crowd shouting that “THE STUPID LOST HIS PEBBLE I THINK HE IS JUST AN IDIOT WHO BELIVES A STONE” from that day whatever he does attracts failure so he decided to throw the pebble because it didn’t helped him.

          A week from the day of his humiliation he went to the waterfalls shouting “IM GIVING MY LUCKY CHARM TO YOU GIVE BACK SUCCESSFUL ME MAKE ME RETURN TO MY OLDSELF AS GENIUS AND TALENTED BOY” and thrown the pebble to the other end of the water stream. After that nothing changed, people who were encouraging him till then started to see him as an idiot person mostly everyone in the town who knows him started to hate him because whatever he do ends up being stupid. He also gave up on everything except music, Music is the only thing which he haven’t given up yet, though he doesn’t made any good progress through it, he still hanging with it. I love my brother but I feel sorry for him because he wasn’t taking any steps to change.

ZOE: I am sorry…

ZEON: Why are you apologizing Zoe?

ZOE: It was all because of me, if I haven’t asked your brother to play the tune your friend’s wont made fun of him and upset him right. It’s all my fault.

ZEON: No… No… to be honest I was happy that you asked him. Im sure he was happy too.

ZOE: That’s glad to hear, Can I meet your brother?

ZEON: It’s not possible for you to meet him today, come to my home tomorrow let me introduce him to you!

ZOE: Sure tell me the address of your house

After that they both went to their home Zeon never talked anything about this to his brother and the next day Zoe came to Zeon’s home, she was surprised to see Deigh, Nasha, Sweedi on Zeon’s house. Then they entered and walked towards Leone’s room. Leone didn’t looked at any one he just turned towards the window and looked outside.

ZEON: Brother this is Zoe the great painter and the model, She wanted to talk to you.

LEONE: I already told you, whatever you seek is not gonna happen so please leave already.

Deigh, Nasha, Sweedi got mad while hearing this but they endured because Zoe warned them not to talk a word against Leone

ZOE: Its ok I don’t want to bother you I have a small gift for you, Let me keep it hear please open it once we left.

Saying that Zoe went out and everyone followed her, No one had any idea of that gift they looked shocked. As everyone went Leone closed the door and opened the gift inside that there is paper in which it is written that ‘PLEASE LISTEN TO THE MUSIC IN THIS TAPE AND ONCE YOU HAVE DONE COME AND VISIT ME I WILL BE WAITING FOR YOU’ He wore his headphones and turned on the music, While hearing his eyes filled with tears he was excited and crying at the same time, after listening to the full music Leone came out running straight towards his brother and asked Where is she????

ZEON: She said she was going to the waterfalls.

LEONE: To the waterfalls……

At once Leone took his keyboard and ran towards the Waterfalls, Zoe was waiting for him in his secret place.

LEONE: HOW?

ZOE: Sorry about it. I know it was wrong but I’m sorry for recording your music on the other day while I painting it flew away by the wind while searching It I saw you have picked up the painting and you were playing an amazing music it was almost like that the painting was singing I don’t wanted to interrupt you so I listened to it but unfortunately ended up recording because it was too nice.

LEONE: To be honest I don’t know how I played? I just got carried away. It was like that the painting asked me to press these keys and I pressed unconsciously which gave some good music.

ZOE: Can you play it for me once again, please!

LEONE: I told you right I don’t know how I played it.

ZOE: Here use this painting….. I painted it for you.

LEONE: I don’t know but I feel like playing.

He took the keyboard and started playing an amazing music. Zeon and his friends came there by hearing the music

DEIGH: The wonderful music is coming that way, Is Zoe playing the music?

When they came they couldn’t believe their eyes everyone was shocked because the one who is playing the song is not Zoe but Leone. Zeon hugged his brother from behind shouting ‘I KNOW……MY BROTHER IS NOT AN IDIOT’. Leone don’t understand how it happened but he was so happy after a long time he shook his head straight with a smile in his looking towards Zoe. He thanked her and at once tears came overflowing from his eyes.

On the next day he got courage but it was hard yet he tried and somehow played on of his best music in front of everyone in the music class (He was secretly playing many different music at night and in waterfalls after the music class. None of the students believed how he was able to play but the music teacher realized that practicing the basic for long time made him to memorize the sound of each keys which made him to play the tune as he wanted. Zeon stood infront of everyone shouted what you think of my brother! Huh! Everyone felt ashamed. The idiot person who is been called as Dolt became the genius of the music class and started helping the rest of the students. All this happened because of Zoe’s painting. As the month came to end Zoe went back to the city for the competition.

          After a week she returned to Town Sapphire with the first prize she won in the competition. She came directly to Leone’s home and gave him the prize

LEONE: Why are you giving it to me? It’s yours

ZEON: Yeah it’s your reward for your hard work and what painting did you for the competition.

ZOE: Well this the painting I draw the title of the painting is “RHYTHM OF THE PAINTINGS”

ZEON: Whoa.......You are an amazing painter to paint such thing is marvellous, the boy who was the playing the piano in the painting is my brother right.

LEONE: It’s great!

ZOE: That’s all you could say! (She pouts)

LEONE: Haha ! It’s miraculous and you painted your own painting inside your painting. You sure do have an immense amount of concentration.

Zeon took the painting and showed it to his mom and dad. He called his friends to come home immediately and he showed the painting to them after they came. Everyone loved the painting. Leone gave her prize back to her

LEONE: Here it is your reward!

ZOE: This reward is all thanks to you Leone. You can have it

LEONE: Don’t be silly. I’m just a model in that painting you are the one who painted it and because of you I got courage to expose my talents and I’m who wanted to thank you in the first place. THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING!!

ZOE: Ok then at least keep this dollar with you. (She removed her dollar chain and gave it to Leone)

ZEON: But Zoe is that your precious dollar that you wanted to never let it go!

LEONE: He is right! Why are you giving this to me? I’m just a model.

ZOE: Yeah you guys are right. It’s the most precious thing that I treasured so far but I have been waiting for long to give you this.

Everyone in the room was shocked.

SWEEDI: Huh …. Long ago….. Are you joking? You know him only two weeks before and you are awaiting to give him something precious.

ZOE: Open the dollar in the chain you will get it what I’m trying to say (The dollar is oval shaped cylindrical structure)

Leone opened the dollar and the thing inside the dollar surprised Leone and Zeon.

LEONE: No way! How did you get it? (It’s the lucky charm pebble that Leone threw on the waterfalls it has different blue colour lines on the edge which makes it different from other pebbles)

ZOE: I know you long ago, My father is a great artist so its normal for them to expect me to become a great artist like him but I sucks at drawing I can’t even draw an apple properly my dad and mom used to scold me lot because I can’t draw properly then one day I became so sad and ran away from the home and I came to the waterfalls on the other side on some distance I saw a boy shouting “IM GIVING MY LUCKY CHARM TO YOU GIVE BACK SUCCESSFUL ME MAKE ME RETURN TO MY OLDSELF AS GENIUS AND TALENTED BOY” and threw a pebble which smacked my head. But I love that pebble I took it home and drew the pebble in paper. My dad and mom congratulated me. That’s how my life as artist started, this is my lucky charm. I couldn’t see the boy’s face because he was so long from me.

          After hearing your story from Zeon I realized that you are the one who gave me this charm indirectly and made me an artist. You know what Leone the Nature hears your request that’s why it chose me to make you genius and talented boy and my dreams came to reality because of you. I really don’t know what to give as gratitude.

ZEON: Haha ! Karma works huh ……. Nice Zoe if you don’t mind can I ask you something?

ZOE: Yeah what is it?

ZEON: Why don’t you make my brother as your boyfriend?

DEIGH: WHAAT!!

SWEEDI: NO WAY

NASHA: Don’t be ridiculous

ZOE: It’s up to your brother.

LEONE: I don’t know!

After a couple of months Leone and Zoe started dating and Leone became a world famous composer and musician, whereas Zeon became a chief executive in high government office and Zoe’s was acknowledged by many artists after the ‘RHYTHM OF THE PAINTINGS’.

That’s how they lived an amazing life afterwards…….

Everyone has talents it’s up to you to pick it up and use it. What people say about you doesn’t matter whatever you do there will be always some people who helps you and never leave you, So always try to go forth.
